5 lists to help you organize your life
You can start the day, any day really, with the thought that now is the time to get organized. And you can end the day, that very same day, with the thought that absolutely nothing got done. This is the usual cycle for busy people.
But to break that cycle, there is a plan that you can follow, and that plan involves the making of lists. And five lists, in particular, that will help you get your life organized from the ground up, including your bucket list, your family grocery list, your main to-do list, your house cleaning list, and your clothing inventory list.
Your Bucket List
If you haven’t written a bucket list yet, you should do that today. Like, right now. It doesn’t have to be complicated, or long, or anything special. It should just be your bucket list. Things you want to do at some point in your life. Because if, once you’ve written that list, your current day-to-day living structure isn’t going to move your toward any of those things, it may be time to do some reassessments!
Your Family Grocery List
There’s nothing more frustrating than not having the right food at your home, especially if you have a large family. So, to the rescue, you can install a family grocery list app! This way your whole family of connected individuals can both add to and subtract from the list. This way there will be no doubles, and everyone will get a fair say about what needs to be added to the pantry when they eat the last of something!
Your To-Do List
Your to-do list of choice is probably going to be your most important list decision. Depending on how busy you are and how scattered your thoughts become, your to-do list is either going to become your best friend or your worst enemy. That fact is why there are so many to-do list options when it comes to app stores across all platforms.
Your House Cleaning List
If you don’t have a good housecleaning list, your house is going to suffer for it. Once again, this doesn’t necessarily have to be a complicated breakdown of things, but it should offer a gentle set of guidelines to be followed by everyone who lives in an area. Without this list, things will get dirty, people will get frustrated, and your life will be disorganized chaos.
Your Clothing List
And something that a lot of people don’t think of, but that could definitely help them organize their lives, is a basic clothing inventory list. How many shirts, shoes, pants, suits, coats, etc., do you really have? Take a day or two and go over everything, and you might be surprised how much organized your clothing purchases decisions will become immediately.
